Welcome to the Cambridge Pringle Group. We provide homes and support to people with mental health needs both in their own homes and in our own supported accommodation in supported housing and in independent housing.
The Cambridge Pringle Group was established 16 years ago as a grass roots organisation whose aim was to support people with mental health needs in the community; this included homes and support with service user and carer input. A brief history of our organisation is as follows:
History of the Cambridge Pringle Group
| 1986 | Project conceived |
| 1990 | Building of Pringle House commenced |
| 1991 | Building completed, residents accepted and staff appointed |
| 1993 | Cambridge Pringle Group formed |
| 1995 | Three-room extension to Pringle House completed |
| 1997 | Purchase of first shared home for four residents |
| 2001-03 | Purchase of two more houses for a further eight residents |
| 2007-08 | Decommission of one shared home and eight individual homes purchased. |
| 2008 | Appointed as Preferred provider for Mental Health Home and Community Support Services for Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire |
